KSA’s Martin Awarded Top Athlete

Heath Martin 2013Heath Martin, a KSA U14 player, joined KSA in 2013.   Heath was awarded the Eagles Nest, Top Athlete Award at Cedar Bluff Elementary in 2011 and 2013.   The Eagles Nest is awarded to one male and female athlete, each school year, if athletic benchmarks are surpassed in each challenged event.  During this school year, Heath attends Cedar Bluff Middle School, as a 6th grader, and, will be competing in soccer and track for Cedar Bluff, as well as playing basketball for CBFO.   Heath has enjoyed his first year with KSA, and, the opportunity to improve his skills against State of Tennessee Division 2 level U14 players.   Heath had the opportunity to attend IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, and, this trip helped him improve both on-the-field skills and off-the-field maturity.  The IMG Academy is conducted at an intense level, for serious-minded youth players, and, Heath looks forward to continuing to hone and develop the lessons learned at the camp.  While KSA is a full year soccer program, the winter (December & January) and summer (June) months, are not as intense, and, these months will allow him to compete in multiple sports (Basketball, Track and Soccer), with a focus on developing different muscle groups.  Our family enjoys the attention to detail, provided by the KSA staff, as well as the consistent focus of the program by all of the coaches.
